This was a street scene from a cruise around London a few weekends ago. This guy really struck me as being the stereotypical London “geezer” in the middle of a conversation and I simply loved the shot.
My primary interests right now are lightpainting. Before that I was into urban (architecture & graffiti) and timelapse. At each interest, I try to master it and to understand it to the best of my ability. I am a perfectionist and I will take, take again, retake and retaken again over and over until I feel like the shot is “right“. When possible I try to achieve everything in-camera, from choosing manual settings to which post-processed look I want to achieve.
Right now I only have a Canon 550D body with three lenses, a Canon 50mm 1.8, Canon 18-135mm and a Tamron 70-300mm. The first is my primary lens and I quite rarely use the Tamron, except for distance shots. I’m really looking to expand my range of lenses when I can be arsed.
